Where have I been? Very busy, I can tell you…

What have I been doing of late? A lot of sporting events. Particularly women’s sports. We have a lot of talent in the country that the general public does not know about. Especially in the women’s football arena.

The girls emerge from the tunnel at the Larry Gomes Stadium Malabar for the second semi-final between Real Dimension (blue) and Malick.

I’m a self-proclaimed advocate of women’s football. So when I covered the semi finals last week, and the final this evening of the WoLF FA Cup, I was enthused by the ability some of these girls had.

I’ve also immersed myself in some netball action as the AFNA Championships started last Saturday at the Jean Pierre Complex. I’ve never watched netball before, but it is definitely a good spectator sport; I’ll be covering more of those in the future. My next post features my match report of the WoLF semi final last week at the Larry Gomes Stadium.
